Time to loosen up those Hamstrings

The “hamstrings” is a term for the group of three muscles that run along the back of your thigh from your hip to just below the knee which include the semitendinosus, semimebranosus, and biceps femoris. These muscles can become tight from playing sports, sitting for long periods of time, and even from something as unsuspecting as lifting and carrying your child.

Even though we get tight muscles in unique ways, there are some simple stretches and exercises we can begin to preform daily to fix our tight hamstrings.
